Golden Gate Park is a large rectangular urban park situated between the Panhandle Park and the Pacific Ocean in San Francisco, California. Within the grounds of the park are two stadiums, a conservatory, a Japanese Tea Garden, a botanical garden, lakes and a golf course.
It consists of one thousand and seventeen acres of land open to the public. Going from East to West it is over 5 kilometers long and from North to South, it is about 1 kilometer wide. The park is bound by the Great Highway and the Pacific Ocean on the west side, Fulton Street on the north side, Lincoln Way on the south side and by Stanyan and Fell Street as well as the Panhandle Park on the east side.
History
1999
Andy Trudeau was attacked and almost killed by a Wendigo, one of which was a scratched Piper. However, the sisters were able to determine which Wendigo was Piper and which one was the real wendigo. After, Prue vanquished the Wendigo and Piper returned to her true self.
After casting a spell to vanquish Nicholas, the sisters were taken back to 1975, where they encountered the younger versions of themselves. They brought the kids to the park and taught little Piper and Phoebe how to use their powers to vanquish the warlock. This is when police officers arrive and arrest the adult sisters for kidnapping.
At a party for the son of a friend of the Halliwells, the son is kidnapped by two Grimlocks. Prue witnesses the kidnapping and then uses her powers to sperate the Grimlocks, channeling her power through her hands for the first time. At the same that this happens, a report named Eric Lohman.
The sisters are tasked with protecting one of Leo Wyatt's charges, and Prue and Phoebe head to the park to vanquish a Darklighter named Alec. Prue used Alec's power of Touch of Death to kill him.
2004
In 2004, after Paige Matthews puts on a pair of Penny Halliwell's cursed go-go boots, she winds up beings transferred back to 1967.
During this time, Penny Halliwell was a hippie concerned about nature and spreading love instead of hate. Penny's friend Robin invites Paige to a Witch Be-In they are holding in Golden Gate Park to promote peace, joy and happiness.
Phoebe and Piper find out Paige has been sent to the past and the two sisters also put 2 of Gram's cursed articles of clothing on, teleporting them back to the 60's as well. At the park, just as the sisters introduce themselves to Allen and Patty, the cops show up and Piper and Phoebe are arrested.
